To segue from the previous item on the list, Minn Kota and Hummingbird’s latest One-Boat Network is changing the way you fish by offering interconnectivity between apps. This device helps you to share information between your multi-function display (MFD), Talon shallow-water anchor, and your electric trolling motor.
The Hummingbird will tell the motor where it wants to go, and when to drop it will tell the anchor. The Spot-Lock will lock your location into the monitor when used to hover, and with a few taps, you can be back to that spot in no time even if you don’t know where it was. While similar systems are already available, none have the shallow-water anchor and the newest feature: remote integration with the I Interface.
Those with the remote should connect it with the MFD, so that from anywhere on the boat you can do all the same things. You can lock in a spot, tell the motor to take you there and even navigate back anywhere on the deck from a handy remote after you have left.
